My credentials are rooted in spirituality and small business. My mind operates on a strict diet of self-help, metaphysics, and marketing strategy. I like to meditate and make sales. I am successful, articulate, and grounded in all that I love.

I own Energy Shop Jewelry, a spirited little spot where I sell gemstone jewelry and Feng Shui supplies (I also have The Energy Shop on Etsy).  I attended Pennsylvania State University and have nearly completed my bachelor’s degree in metaphysics at the American Institute of Holistic Theology. I am also Reiki certified.

I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I am temporarily living in Wellington, NZ with my family. I’ve been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal, I write Marketing Creativity (www.marketyourcreativity.com), and I am also a team writer for Handmadeology (www.handmadeology.com).

I have been married for 15 short years, and I have 4 absolutely delicious children (2 girls and 2 boys, aged 5-11). With credit to my husband and his career, our family has lived the last 10 years moving between Virginia, Zambia (Africa), Belgium (Europe), to our current home in New Zealand (South Pacific).  I am fortunate in that my budding business travels with me!

The e-course, Market Your Creativity: How to Turn Your Hobby Business into Handmade Success is coming soon! Stay tuned for more details.

  1. Lisa I just wanted to thank you for your spirit as well as your knowledge. I absolutely love your business tag ‘Building a career with your own two hands’. I just started my website, aneyefordesign2.com, in September and it has been extremely slow, but I am positive that things will change soon.
